Terms of Service

// Last updated: 30 May 2026

By installing or using Blockerly, you agree to these terms. They're written to be clear, not lawyered to death. Read them.

What Blockerly is

Blockerly is a Chrome browser extension that blocks websites you choose, on a schedule you set. It is intended to help you focus. It is provided as a tool, not a guarantee — your focus, productivity, and outcomes depend on you.

Your account

You can use the free tier of Blockerly without an account. To upgrade to Pro, you sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. One account, one person — please don't share accounts.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Blockerly. If you're in a region with a higher age threshold for digital services, you must meet that threshold.

Free and Pro tiers

The free tier includes a limited set of features (currently: up to 3 blocked sites, plus the Adult content category). The Pro tier unlocks the remaining features. The exact contents of each tier may change over time; we'll make reasonable effort not to remove features you've already paid for.

Payments

Pro is sold via Lemon Squeezy, our payment processor and merchant of record. They handle taxes (including VAT/GST), receipts, and dispute resolution. By purchasing, you agree to Lemon Squeezy's terms in addition to ours.

Subscription tiers (monthly, yearly) renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from the link in your Lemon Squeezy receipt email or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Lifetime purchases are one-time payments that grant access for the lifetime of the product. If Blockerly is discontinued or sold, we will make reasonable effort to honor existing lifetime purchases, but cannot guarantee perpetual service beyond circumstances reasonably within our control.

Prices may change. Existing customers will not see price increases during an active subscription period or for already-purchased lifetime access.

Refunds

See our Refund Policy.

Acceptable use

Don't use Blockerly to:

What you own, what we own

You own your data — your blocklist, schedule, settings, and the content you create within Blockerly (such as custom block page text and images). We own Blockerly itself — the code, design, brand, and documentation.

You grant us a limited license to store and process your data only as needed to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

No warranty

Blockerly is provided "as is." We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure against all attacks, or compatible with every browser update Google ships. We do not warrant that using Blockerly will result in any specific outcome (productivity gain, time saved, recovered focus, etc.) — those depend on you.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of Blockerly is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 USD, whichever is greater. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations. If you're in one of those, this clause applies only to the extent permitted by your local law.

Termination

You can stop using Blockerly anytime by uninstalling the extension. You can delete your account by emailing us. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with reasonable notice unless the violation is severe or ongoing.

Changes to these terms

If we materially change these terms, we'll update the date at the top and notify users where appropriate. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh — except where local consumer protection law requires otherwise.
